Meet the Totes4Teens Directors

Cheri Johnson

President/Founder

Cheri Johnson, a native Californian grew up in the Bay Area and moved part time to Hidden Valley Lake in 1994 to 1997 and again in 2004 til present after retirement. She has been coming to Lake County since early childhood, mostly to the Cobb/Hoberg/Whispering Pines areas and at one time also owned a home there. Career was as a Marketing Director for an analytical instrument company, owner of a high tech executive recruitment firm for close to 25 years and vineyard development for eight years. She is active in community affairs, clubs, and organizations primarily in southern Lake County area and is the founder of the Totes4Teens program serving teenage youth in need for all of Lake County.

 

Nancy Fahs

Director/Secretary

Nancy Fahs was born and raised in San Francisco. Attended Lowell High School, San Francisco State and raised three children before returning to college to finish and receive her BSN nursing degree from UCSF. Worked as a staff RN in San Francisco for 15 years and then 7 more in Lake County at Sutter Lakeside. Retired fifteen years ago and finally learned to play golf. Has been involved as a critical team member with Totes4Teens for 11 years.

Susan Cameron

Director/Treasurer

Susan Cameron retired to Hidden Valley Lake in 2012 after living and working in Santa Clara County for 30 years. Having attended San Jose State University as a ‘mature’ student, and graduating with a BS in Business (Finance), she went on to a successful career in accounting and finance. After two short stints at a major industrial corporation and then in a family small business, she settled into self-employment, providing accounting and finance services to Silicon Valley businesses. That experience included retail, manufacturing, professional services, a variety of high tech start-ups, and non-profit organizations. This broad experience gives her the perfect background for managing Totes 4 Teens finances. She has been volunteering with Totes 4 Teens in some capacity since 2012.

Tyra K. LaMar

Director

Tyra K. LaMar, daughter to Cheri Johnson moved to Hidden Valley Lake during the summer of 2012. Tyra was born in the Bay Area and has been raising her three children and running her Interior Design business. Tyra has many years of charity work and running very successful school auction events, all to benefit schools, education, and children of all ages. Tyra has been involved with Totes4Teens as a donor prior to her move to Lake County and now is an active committee member.

Judy Knight

Director

Judy Knight was born in San Francisco and has been volunteering since retiring after thirty years working for Pacific Bell. She has been involved with many committees and volunteer organizations such as CCI (Canine Companions for Independence), Catholic Charities Rural Food Program, Middletown Spirit of the Season, Middletown’s St. Joseph Catholic Church Alter Society and an active committee member with Totes4Teens since 2006.
